Resumen: NeoRageX es un emulador exclusivo de NeoGeo que desempeña una emulación practicamente idéntica (por no decir igual) a la de la máquina original.
Estas son las características más importantes de NeoRage:
- Búsqueda automática de ROMs, se encuentren en el directorio que se encuentren.
- Posibilidad de jugar directamente con las ROMs en formato ZIP, con lo que ahorraremos espacio y número de archivos.
- Registro de puntuaciones máximas, partidas, sonidos, shots, etc.
- Detecta teclado y joystick compatible con Windows 9x.
- Innumerables opciones gráficas: Profundidad de color variable entre 8 y 16 bits, scanlines al 50% o 100%, interpolación gráfica, stretch (ajuste de la pantalla al monitor), tasa de desecho de frames configurable o automática y VSync (característica muy útil que consiste en mover un número fijo de líneas verticales por línea horizontal, lo que suaviza el movimiento).
- Innumerables opciones de sonido: emulación de sonido FM/ADPCM (idéntico al de una recreativa), sonido stereo y una calidad de 44Khz de hasta 16 bits por muestra, permitiendo interpolación de sonido.
- Selección territorial de la máquina, para poder cargar ROMs de Japón, Estados Unidos y Europa.
- Modos consola y arcade
- Posibilidad de activar las MVS Settings (configura aspectos del juego como si lo hiciesemos desde el programa de la placa de una recreativa)
- Freeplay (para jugar, jugar, jugar y jugar)
Requisitos minimos:Pentium 200 con 32 Mb de RAM y una tarjeta de video 2 megas.
